Who works with us – and who can join.
Protecting water bodies together. Scaling impact.
No one solves the tasks around our water bodies alone. It takes knowledge, technology, local roots and the willingness to change something – usually spread across several shoulders. e.Ray has therefore worked in partnerships from the outset: with local initiatives, with science and technology, with municipalities, companies and international organisations.

Public sector
Authorities, districts and initiatives with which we shape pilots and continuous operations – from Hesse to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Plus the international water alliances in which e.Ray is a member or contributor.
What we can do today, we learned together.
We would like to thank the partners, clients, research institutions and consortium partners with whom we have delivered projects, tested technology and developed ideas for water protection over the past years. The list that follows is a selection, not a complete record.
From science and research, we are accompanied by members of our limnology and research network, among them Helmholtz-Zentrum, TU Berlin, TU Darmstadt, KIT and SRH Heidelberg. At programme and organisational level we work with ESA Space Solutions, EUSPA, DLR, GIZ and the UN Global Compact, among others.
In specific regions and projects we work with the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald and with meer.zukunft.seen, among others. In Hesse we are accompanied by the Hessian Ministry for Digitalisation and Innovation, HEAG and bioversum Jagdschloss Kranichstein – alongside many other people and organisations on the ground.
On the technical side we work with suppliers and project partners who contribute instrumentation, sensors, analytics and software – among them Badger Meter, Endress+Hauser, Samplify Lab, Drausy, Rayner Software and Offshore Monitoring.
Thank you for the trust, for learning together and for the courage to take new paths in water, climate and water protection.
Our network is meant to keep growing.
We are looking for people and organisations who want to understand, protect and stabilise water bodies together with us over the long term. Five forms of collaboration matter particularly to us.
-
Local Heroes
Change often begins right on your own doorstep. Perhaps you are planning an initiative at your lake. Perhaps you know a water body that no one has properly looked after for years. Perhaps you would like to take measurements, make a problem visible or bring people from your region together. We help you turn that commitment into something that shows up in figures.
For initiatives, associations, companies and committed individuals who care for a particular water body.
-
Service and sales on the ground
We are looking for partners who represent our solutions in their region and build up new projects there. We contribute technology, data and WAMO; our partners contribute closeness to the people and knowledge of the water bodies on site. Such a collaboration can grow into a viable business model for better water protection.
For companies and consultancies with access to municipalities, water associations, infrastructure operators, research institutions or industry.
-
Corporate partnerships for climate and water
Water bodies are an essential part of the water-carbon cycle, and water quality is becoming a relevant factor for companies. Together we develop pilot projects that connect water protection, climate impacts and ecological effect. In this context we can also examine how carbon and climate impact may be quantified, and work in the longer term along recognised methodologies, for instance in the environment of Verra or Gold Standard.
For companies that want not only to fund projects, but to be involved in delivering them.
-
Research, limnology and technology
We are open to scientific and technical cooperation: limnology, microbiology, sensor technology, remote sensing, AI, hydrology, ecosystem research, climate science. To sensor manufacturers and technology companies we offer joint tests, integrations and pilot sites. To research partners we provide real measurement data and WAMO infrastructure as the basis for new projects.
For institutes, university chairs, sensor manufacturers and technology companies with a concrete research question.
-
International partnerships
Water knows no borders. Outside Germany, too, we are looking for partners with whom we can test and validate solutions for water quality, climate adaptation and the water-carbon cycle, and deploy them at a larger scale. Constellations in which local expertise, technology, funding and verifiable impact come together are particularly robust.
For international organisations, programmes and companies with water-related projects.
Become part of our network.
- Do you count yourself among the Local Heroes and would you like to protect your water body?
- Would you like to bring e.Ray into your region as a service or sales partner?
- Are you a company that would like to make new climate and water projects possible?
- Do you come from research, limnology, sensor technology or technology development and have an idea we should try out together?
- Do you work internationally on water quality or climate adaptation and are you looking for technology and evidence of impact?
Then we should talk. Write to us in two sentences about what it concerns – we will get back to you.
